Our Beliefs
We believe the Holy Bible (consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old Testament and New Testament) is the Word of God and our primary authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in one God who exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Spirit, who is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe, including the world and everything in it.
We believe every person is worthy of dignity and respect because every person is made in the image of God. However, sin has separated us from God and from each other, leading to all kinds of brokenness and despair; thus, our greatest need is for salvation, that is, to be forgiven of our sins and reconciled to God.
We believe in the good news that salvation is a gift of God’s grace alone that we receive through faith alone in Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life, who died in our place for our sins, who was resurrected from the dead, and who ascended to heaven, where He presently intercedes for His followers and from where He will soon return as King of all to judge the world and to bring final salvation to His people.
We believe the church is a spiritual fellowship of people from every language, nation, race, tongue, and tribe who are united by the Holy Spirit through a common faith in Jesus Christ. The mission of the church is to preach the message of Jesus Christ and to teach believers how to live faithful and fruitful lives by keeping His Word.
